Not sure what to say?

Doogie was always good-humored and treated our clients with kindness. My sympathy and condolences to his wife and children. May your memories keep you.

Doogie was indeed kind and thoughtful. I would see him 2 or 3 times a week, and I was almost always rushing by. He always stopped me and took a moment to say something kind, funny, something that made my day better. I will not forget him!!!

Judge Gerardo Sandoval

I worked with Doogie. I will miss him. He was very helpful and a good guy, with a good sense of humor. I really enjoyed his presence.

Maria Torreano.

He was such a nice person. So funny, generous and warm. I will forever miss him.

I worked with Doogie side by side for about 5 years. Doogie was one of the most selfless people I have ever known, he was thoughtful and kind. He was generous with his time and knowledge. He had the biggest heart. Doogie loved his wife Marie and his family more than anything else. Doogie & I shared a working kinship, he was like a brother to me. I admired and respected him. I will miss his laughter, his jokes and pranks. I am proud to have known him and honored to call him my friend.

To have known Dougie for the past 24 years was an absolute pleasure. As everyone had mentioned, if you were down and not feeling up to being yourself, Dougie knew how to make you smile and make you feel it was just another day at 850.

Dougie, I will truly miss our small talks we had over the years.

My prayers to the Chan Family

Thank you Dougan Chan, you are always in our hearts and minds. I will always remember our wonderful conversations we shared walking the Hall of Justice. You were and always will be my friend! Gods Speed Dougan Chan!

Gone too soon. One of the nicest and friendly person I known. May he rest in peace.

Every day coming to court I passed by his department and just seeing his smile was a great way to start the day. He always had some funny observation to share and I frequently saw him helping others navigate the copy machine. He always was so cheerful and such an incredible fixtur at the hall. He is and will be missed so very much. A huge loss for all who new him. My hear goes out to his family. It was a magnificent gift an honor to have him in my life
