Uncle Bub was a great man. His faith in God was amazing. In every Christmas card, I felt his deep love for God and his gentle words. He lived far from us, but when I saw him he towered over me, both in statue and grace. When I was little, he used to pick me up to touch the ceiling fan. I am still not too fond of heights. He came to Maryland for my wedding and I appreciated his presence. He has been a good brother to my dad and a great uncle to me. May God lift him up and carry him home to...
