Uncle Bub was a great man. His faith in God was amazing. In every Christmas card, I felt his deep love for God and his gentle words. He lived far from us, but when I saw him he towered over me, both in statue and grace. When I was little, he used to pick me up to touch the ceiling fan. I am still not too fond of heights. He came to Maryland for my wedding and I appreciated his presence. He has been a good brother to my dad and a great uncle to me. May God lift him up and carry him home to Heaven on angels' wings. He was ready to be with his Lord and Savior. May his family have peace knowing that and feel his presence always.
