Graveside services for Eldon R. Thurman will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana.
Eldon was born on September 7, 1933, in Webster Parish and entered into rest on October 24, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Nora Thurman, brothers, Ray, George, Roger, and Milton Thurman, sisters, Elsie Faircloth and Dollie Pickett, daughter, Diane Thurman, and son Jef Thurmon.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie Martin Thurmon, stepson, Terry Martin and wife Michelle, stepdaughter, Sherry Skipper and husband Paul, daughter, Pat Coates, sister, Helen T. Jones, brother, Bobby Thurman, step grandchildren, Jason Martin and wife Stacey, Magan Martin, and Brittany Hathorn and husband Justin, and step great grandchildren, Maddox Martin, Kyler and Kaleb Hathorn.
