Baue Funeral Home - O'FallonEleanor Marie Dalton (née Harbison), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born in El Dorado, Illinois.
Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late James Kenneth Dalton; daughter of the late Joseph Harbison and the late Edith Stringer; mother of Lawrence (Denise) Koessel, Linda (Dennis) Howard, Lorie (Mark) Kisling, Lance (Jill) Dalton, David (Amanda) Dalton and Dale (Jennifer) Dalton; and stepmother of James (Gloria) Dalton and Patricia Dalton. She was a grandmother and great-grandmother to many and an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Eleanor worked as a dedicated salesperson in personal care and beauty goods, where she took pride in helping others feel their best. She loved music—especially attending performances at The Muny—traveling with her husband, and playing card games with family and friends. Eleanor was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
