Larry D. Dalton

Waddington: It is with great sadness, the family of Larry D. Dalton, age 75, announce his passing on Friday October 31, 2025, at North Country and Rehabilitation in Massena, surrounded by his loving family. There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11:00 am in Brookside Cemetery, Waddington with Rev. Garry Giroux officiating. Phillips Memorial Home in Waddington is handling the arrangements for Larry Dalton.
Born on October 1, 1950, in Ogdensburg to the parents of Leon and Mary (Blair) Dalton. Larry attended Madrid school. He was employed with the St. Lawrence County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator, retiring after 35 years of devoted service.
Larry was a past volunteer fireman for West Potsdam Fire Dept. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, and especially like the thrill of watching in person at Dover Motor Speedway in Delaware.
He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing or wood working in his pastime.
Larry survivors include two daughters, Sarah and husband Dan Simmons of Potsdam, Wendy and husband William Briggs of Potsdam, a brother Dale and wife Linda Dalton of Massena, and a sister Debbie Tyo of Chase Mills, five grandchildren, Marissa, Willow, John, Caitlyn, and Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Leon "Tom" Dalton and two sisters, Patricia Sheets and Lois Fenlong.
