Warren David Niederschmidt

Warren David Niederschmidt, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in O'Fallon, Missouri, at the age of 93. Born on March 21, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri, Warren was a devoted husband, father, uncle and friend to many.

Warren served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954. After his military service, he spent more than thirty years in the grocery business, as a manager and part owner of Mr. J's IGA. After retiring from the grocery business, Warren worked in carpet and furniture sales where he won numerous awards for top sales.

Family was everything to Warren: his beloved wife of 65 years, Sylvia Niederschmidt, children Gregg, Vicki and their numerous poodles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Niederschmidt; his children, Gregg (Kathy) Niederschmidt and Vicki (Bob) McKiel; his grandson, Michael Williams; his great-granddaughter, Norah Williams; brothers-in-law; David (Nancy) Bandy and Donald (Shirley) Bandy.

Warren joins his departed family members, including his father Henry Niederschmidt, mother Ches Niederschmidt, brother Gene Niederschmidt, sister-in-law Viola Niederschmidt, and nephew Mark Niederschmidt.

Warren's memorial services will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri on Saturday, November 22, 2025 beginning with a gathering from 12:00PM to 2:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, go make memories by spending time with friends and family, listen to music, go out to eat or watch a movie.

Warren’s family finds the strong foundation he provided continues to give us strength, we will continue to honor his legacy, celebrate our cherished memories and hope to make him proud.
