Elsie Fitzgerald Terral Obituary
Funeral Services for Elsie Mae Fitzgerald Terral, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 24, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Thursday.
Mrs. Terral was born October 15, 1933, in West Monroe, LA, and passed away August 20, 2023, after a brief illness.
Elsie believed in the power of prayer and never lost her faith in the Lord. She loved all her family very much and now enjoys her reunion with our dad, her mom, and dad, brothers, and sisters in heaven. Some of her last words were we’re going to be O.K. We’re going to make it.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Mae Terral; son, Benton Owen Terral, Jr.; brother, Robert Fitzgerald; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Benton Owen Terral Sr.; sisters, Verna Lea Black, Yvonnie McBroom, Marilyn Ziajor, and Jean Hendrix; brothers, Pete Fitzgerald and Sonny Fitzgerald; mother and father, Elzie Fitzgerald and Linnie Mae Fitzgerald.
Pallbearers will be Jewel McBroom, T.J. McBroom, Scott Guidry, Rick Hendrix, Randy Hendrix, Paul Branch, Kenneth Vidrine, and Daryel Hendrix.
We would like to give thanks to the Drs, nurses, and staff at St. Franics and Cornerstone Hospital and a special thanks to Dr. Clyde Elliot and nurses for their many years of service.
