Konchalski, Freda F.
Freda F. Konchalski, age 95 of Deland, FL formerly of Danbury died on December 4, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late Frank Konchalski who died in 1978.
Freda was born November 26, 1918 in New York, NY the daughter of the late Adolph and Emily (Schultz) Hoppe. Raised and educated in New York, she had worked with both Fanny Farmers Candy and at Manhattan College. Freda had been a resident of Danbury since 1971, most recently at the Glen Crest Retirement Community for 11 years, until moving to Florida in 2011.
Freda is survived by her children: Ronald S. Konchalski and his wife Camille of Somers, NY and Patricia E. McNally and her husband Stephen of Deltona, FL, four grandchildren: Ronald F. Konchalski and his wife Theresa of New York, Jeffrey A. Konchalski of New York, Kelly Ann McNally of Orlando, FL, and Timothy P. McNally of Orlando, FL, and four great grandchildren: Tyler, Riley, Matthew and Cayden McNally.
A graveside service will take place on Friday August 8th in the Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield at 11:00am.

Our thoughts go to all the family. There was a big party in the sky when Aunt Freida joined her late husband, nephew Ken, brother in law Eddy and all her sisters.....

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow "Jasper Maker" and the family at this time. Staff -- current and past -- are recognized, remembered, and prayed for. We are mindful of the service of these good men and women that comprise the Jasper "forge" that making us what we are. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
