Gina FAUTH Obituary

FAUTH, Gina Rose Marie Colacino Keuilian
January 22, 1941 - February 2, 2011
70, passed away peacefully at her Costa Mesa home on February 2, 2011, with her husband Tom at her bedside and surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born in Manhattan, New York to Frank and Letizia Colacino. She moved from New York following her marriage to Ard Keuilian, finally settling in Garden Grove, CA.
Gina's life was full of family and friends and those she touched. She poured herself out to everyone she met - turning acquaintances into life-long friends. Opened her home for family and friends to stay, becoming a second mother to many. She took her kids and cousins to the movies, beach, theme parks, swimming and sleepovers. Years of being soccer wife, mom, coach and bowler. Adopted into the Armenian Church community. Teacher's aide, PTA mom, office wonder - making sure every customer and coworker was happy, no matter what. She revitalized service stations and people through her vibrant spirit. Beloved by her 5 grandchildren, she shared their sports, the Zoo, Sea World, Legoland and the Welk Resort with Grampa Tom. After a life of giving, she married Tom, who adored and pampered his Princess. They enjoyed Monday night football, BBQd crab and travel with friends and family. While her life was cut short by cancer, God blessed her with time for those who loved her and made her suffering so brief. She knew Jesus was the way to eternal life and waits patiently for us to join her. --
She is survived by her husband Major Thomas Anthony Fauth (Ret.), her sister Alda Slater, her first husband Ardash Keuilian, their children Karin De Jauregui and Christopher Keuilian, three step children Kristin, Thomas and Mark Fauth and five grandchildren, Nicholas, Dessa, Jessica, Hannah and Leah and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Colacino, sister-in-law Harriet Colacino and niece Linda Westerlund.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 11, 201,1 at Harbor Lawn-Mount Olive Mortuary, 1625 Gisler Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 from 5-9pm. The ceremonies will commence at 3:30pm on Saturday, February 12, 2011, with a Catholic mass followed by the funeral service.

Dear Tom, Karin, Christopher, Kristin, Thomas, Mark and grandchildren...Even though you don't know me, I am Gina's cousin Rosalie Ponzo Spata-Todino from NY. We grew up very close when we were young but lost contact. I did speak to her when her brother Anthony passed away and just recently my brother Vincent told me of her passing. Please accept my condolences...I am so happy to read from her obituary that she led a full and beautiful life with family and friends. I remember her being very sweet and of course she was so beautiful. God Bless and comfort you all during this difficult time. Love, Cousin Rosalie

There is nothing I can say that haven't been said about you already Gina. I didn't get to spend as much time with you as others have, yet you made me feel like a family member every time we interacted. Today I know how powerful a gift you had, and how unselfishly and generously you had spread-ed it around, and always had room for more. Your work must have been completed here since God needed you back home. I suspect GOD must have another mission he needs your help with at this time. You have touched more lives then any person I have ever meet and I have the feelings that I might be speaking for many others too. You were truly a fallen angel and we need more of your kind.(so if you can please sent some down asap). I was so happy to be one of the many privileged to have had you in our lives. You will always be with us all.

Gina,
You were such an amazing person, I can't believe you are gone. I have so many memories of you but the ones that stand out most are at my Mom's house. You always had that beautiful smile on and were anxious to see how I was doing and what was going on with me. You always made me feel so special and I want you to know how much that meant to me. But that is how you made everyone feel and I am so blessed to have had you in my life for so long. You are my family and I love you very much! Rest in peace Gina, you will be greatly missed.

The glory of the setting sun that paints the evening sky reminds the heart that life holds so much more than meets the eye... And like the golden sunset, when a loved one leaves this earth, each tear that falls reminds us just how much each life is worth, for in our hearts, the golden glow of memory shines bright, spreading hope and comfort through the shadows of the night... And in this way, your heart may find the strength to see through,in cherishing the memories that mean so much to you..

Gina's positive nature/attitude and infectious smile will be
missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was an inspiration of love and care for all the patients that walked through the doors each day and saw her smiles at Lindora. We loved and cared about Gina as if she were family... Dr. Allan Lifson
