Gloria V. Bourgeois, 95, of Lunenburg, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on October 29, 2025. She was born on February 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Leo V. and Viola M.L. (Brodeur) Dumais.
Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Bourgeois, with whom she shared many wonderful years over their 48.5 years of marriage. She worked for many seasons as an apple packer at Marshall Apple Farm, where she took great pride in her work and the friendships she formed there.
A lifelong member of St. Boniface Church in Lunenburg, Gloria’s faith was a steady presence throughout her life. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — crocheting, working on puzzles, gardening and tending to her flowers, and cooking for family, especially her well loved spaghetti sauce.
Gloria is survived by her children, Kevin R. Bourgeois and his wife Penny of Marlborough; Bryan L. Bourgeois of Fitchburg; and Mark A. Bourgeois of Lunenburg. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Matthew R. Bourgeois, Amanda L. Lehman, Lindsay M. Lothrop, Laura A. Bourgeois, and Nicole Bourgeois; and her adored great grandchildren, Giuliana Bourgeois, Gabriella Bourgeois, Nicholas Bourgeois, Thomas Lehman III, Ayla Lehman, and Bennett Lothrop.
