Gloria Kraft Obituary
Kraft, Gloria J.,
73, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015. She was born March 23, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles and Viola (Vest) Ralston. She is also preceded in passing by her sister, Louise Ralston Brown. She was a 1960 graduate of New Albany High School, a long-time and active member of United Auto Workers, and spent her life advocating for her community and the people in it. Most of all she loved being a grandma and grammy.
She is survived by her daughter, Anita Kraft; sons, David Kraft and his husband, Barry Edwards and Marty Kraft and his wife, Bridget; brother, Bob Ralston; sister, Barbara Ford; grandchildren, April Kraft and her husband, Kenneth Mercer, Anthony Vincent, and Kathryn Kraft; and 2 great grandchildren, Alanna and Kelsey.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
