Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful doctor musician and friend. My blessings and thoughts for Grady and his family and I also speak on behalf of my deceased husband Rex Sagle . His respect and love were always directed toward Grady.

May he Rest Peacefully, My Husband was a patient in 1982, November 2, 1982. The procedure was successful. My husband and I Loved Dr Hallman. He was so very kind, always took the time to discuss questions. I have thought of him through the years with much appreciation. Sheri Seel

Grady was undoubtedly the best most trusted friend that my husband had in Grady’s later years. What a treasure as a human being I’m so very thankful that Rex and Grady became close initially through a shared love of quality music. Rex passed away unexpectedly thirteen months after Grady but felt such a great loss every moment missing him, his friendship, his musicianship, as well as simply sharing moments laughing and talking with this special man. As a Physician Dr. Hallman was so very...

I am so sorry that I am just now learning about the passing of Dr. Hallman. I was a 21 year old girl in 1967 when I was shot in the groin with a deer rifle while deer hunting. I was very, very, close to death when Dr. Hallman became one of my doctors. I ultimately lost my left leg, but do to gangrene I almost lost my life. I had a lot of vascular issues. I was in St. Luke's Hospital for 6 months. I remember Dr. Hallman's dedication to seeing that I survived. I remember on one of many...

I meet Dr. Hallman In the Texas Medical Center Orchestra. He was a great encouragement to me in many ways. He told me about a brass institute in Denver, and I went. There I saw an Air Force brass quintet and knew I had found my calling. He is a major part of the reason I am enjoying a career as a military musician. I will never forget his passion for music and for helping those around him, even out of the OR.

I just read of Dr. Hallman's passing. He saved my daughter's life in 1983 and again 1989 when he did her Fontan surgery. She is 34 years old now. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My condolences to the family . Knowing that your loved one is resting and not suffering anymore brings peace of mind . May God comfort you during this time of grief . 1 st Thessalonians 4 : 14 .

My condolences to your family during this time of grief.

I will be forever indebted to Dr. Hallman for providing the funding for the Golden Age of Brass, Vol. 3 recording that I made back when I was the Principal Euphonium of "The President's Own" United States Marine Band. As many people know, Dr. Hallman was a big fan of the euphonium (and a tremendous euphonium soloist in his own right!), and he felt strongly that our traditional "Golden Age" repertoire was underrepresented among brass recordings. His generosity in sponsoring all the production...
