Herbert Vernon Ells

ELLS, Herbert "Vernon" - 95, of Dartmouth, passed away April 14, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Son of the late Herbert Renwick and Vera Irene (Mosher) Ells, of Canning, Kings Co. Survived by wife of 67 years, Marjorie (nee O'Dell); daughter, Susan Leger; brother, Gerald, of Charlottetown. Predeceased by son, Douglas. Vernon was an accountant for C.P. Hotels and a commercial traveler for Westinghouse, Hotpoint and Camco. He was a member of the Kentville Fire Department for 15 years and was a former member of the I.O.O.F. He was very fond of his commercial trips to Newfoundland, the friendships he made and the hospitality he received. Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 20, at 2pm in Stairs Memorial United Church, Hester St., Dartmouth with Rev. Mary Lynne Whyte officiating.
