Irving Crandall

Although I only met Irving once when as a Crandall Cousin I wrote him to ask if I could visit the house, he was gracious enough to invite me for a visit and took the time to show me around. He was a delight to spend time with and I'm sure will be missed by many.

Irving was the type of person who was an unforgettable character. My regards to his close relatives and friends. Respectfully, Scott Bill Hirst.

Mr. Crandall lived along life and surly left a legend for those who knew him to follow. He did not hold back his words, he said what was on his mind. His home on Pound Road was just a few miles from the center of town with all the hustle and bustle. But when I visited Mr. Crandall it was like going back two hundred years. Sadly there are too few among us like Erving and Arlene. I enjoyed their company and conversations very much in Shady Harbor.
