Jenny Quirk

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our little flower, Jennifer 'Jenny' Marie Quirk, 32 on Jan. 27, 2014, in Truro, N.S.
Born in Sydney, on July 25, 1981 she was the only child of Anne Marie Quirk.
Jenny grew up in Dartmouth, N.S. and graduated from Auburn High School, she then went on to be a continuing care assistant at the Northwood Long-Term Care Facility in Halifax. Nursing was Jenny's calling, a job she both loved and excelled at. Jenny made friends easily and was a giving and compassionate person who always put the needs of others and the needs of animals before her own. Jenny also had a great passion for gardening which her grandmother, Jean instilled in her at a very young age.
She is survived by her loving mother, Anne Marie Quirk, Sydney; maternal grandmother, Jean Marie Quirk, Sydney; uncle, Jim (Kathleen) Quirk, Sydney; cousins, Christopher and Laura Quirk, Alberta and Gary, Ron, Linda and David MacEachern, Ont.; great-uncle, Francis (Judy) MacEachern, Ont.; extended family, Marie (Lionel) Totton, Ont.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Jim Quirk, Sr. (1982) and her maternal great-grandmother, Rosie MacEachern (2006).
The Quirk family will be holding a private funeral service, Rev. Norman MacPhee officiating.
