I was always proud that I had such a tall and strong cousin as a child. I had the opportunity to get to know him when I grew older. He and Mabel stood up for my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary when they renewed their vows. My parents were so grateful they took the place of their parents. Jerry was always kind.
