I am deeply saddened by the loss of a former colleague and a fellow cancer survivor. I had hoped to visit Jill and see her for the first time in over 12 years this summer during my drive across Canada. I am so sorry I missed that chance but will always remember her as a guiding light for many lives. Goodbye dear Jill. Diane Nicol of Salt Spring Island, B.C.

Ted,
We have many fond memories of Jill at Bob & Denise's. She and Connor had some great games of hide and seek there. You are in our thoughts.

We first met Jill four years ago when she, Ted, Holly and hubby rented our camp. My dad had just been diagnosed with cancer and we were all stunned and scared of what the future held. Although she did not know us she was there for us in a flash. Giving us encouragement and hope. Through the last four years we have met with her many times in hospital clinic and elsewhere. She always was full of smiles and goodness. Talking and caring about everyone else. She was one of those people that touch your life in the best possible way and she will never be forgotten by any of us in the Reed Family. Ted, Holly and family we are so sorry for your loss, and again we were all so lucky to have known her.

Our deepest sympathy on Jill's untimely passing. I worked with Jill after I was posted to Sault Ste Marie Detachment in 1977. Jill was always a pleasure to work with. We left The Soo in 1981 as I returned to Newfoundland and in the last few years I reconnected with both Jill and Holly on Facebook. May God give you strength at this difficult time. God Bless.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this sad time. I only wish that time would have allowed me to spend more pleasurable hours with Jill than I was granted. She was such an inspirational person in every respect to those whose lives she passed through. May many of the happiest memories help to sustain all of you in the weeks and months to come. Sincerely and with much sorrow...

Dear Holly and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I never met Jill I can see just from her picture and your words about her how special a lady she was and I'm so sad for you all that she was taken from you so prematurely. I'm sure she will always be in your hearts and is now another angel to watch over you all. My very deepest sympathies.

dear Holly - HOw sad to read about Jill. I have thought about you and Jill for years as you may remember that my Dad and Mom , Vera and Charlie Falldien were close friends with your Mom and Dad.
