I worked with John at Tokheim. He was always quiet and a very industrialist worker

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I met John Mabe in 1985, while I was still on active Duty in the Army. He became my father-in-law and my friend. Often during those few years of the remainder of the 1980s, and after he had gotten off working 3rd shift at Tokheim, he would bring me to McDonalds for a fish sandwich.

I enjoyed much of the time I spent with him and had the occasional to reminisce privately about the man that I knew as I did some work on my basement. It was particular pertinent as I learned from John...
