I was so very sorry to hear about John's passing. He was my first industrial design boss at Walter Dorwin Teague Associates in New York. After we moved to back to Michigan in 1977, I saw him again at a WDTA reunion in 2015. I told him that through all those years, I had been looking forward to thanking him in person for everything I learned from him and was able to apply to my own career.
