I charish the memories of growing up on the eastside with Uncle John & Aunt Mary Lou as my second parents, the ones with the car, and Uncle John sharing his humor with all of us...Alaskan canned air & moose nugget cufflinks.

I grew up in the northend of Toledo. I became friends with John and his brother Bill at an early age. We didn't have a lot of money but we had strong friendship that lasted over all these years. We managed to enjoy ourselves through sports at Riversid park and Thompson's basketball court on Buckeye street. John like the rest of the guys always had a humorous story to make the group laugh.

I grew up in the North End. I was fortunate to have John as a friend. The boys in our neighborood didn't have much money but we had deep friendship for each other. Our days were spent playing sports and laughing.Those were some happy times on Galena St. Riverside park and Thompson' basketball court. I'll always remember you, John my friend
