John J. Wojciechowski “Wojo”, 69, of Aurora, passed away January 09, 2021.


Preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Mary Wojciechowski; and several aunts and uncles. 


Survived by two daughters, Olif (significant other Curtis Hatcher) and Charity Wojciechowski; 5 grandchildren, Zak, Olif, Susan, Gunner, and Grayson; a brother Bernard “Bernie”: Wojciechowski; a sister-in-law, Kathy Wojciechowski; a niece Wendy Slavicek; and a nephew Brian Wojciechowski.


John grew up in Lemont, IL. He worked at AuSteel until it closed and most recently Sheffield Steel in Joliet. He was a member of Holy Angels Parish in Aurora. Some of his hobbies and interests included riding his Harley, scuba diving, and dressing up as “Wojo” the clown and santa at Christmas. He will be best remembered for being a loving father, grandfather, a good brother, and his boisterous laugh that when you heard it, you would join along.  


Visitation Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 2 – 8 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral services Wednesday, January 19, 2022, 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
