Not sure what to say?

Still missing your kind words, the wisdom you shared with me and our Saturday morning group. When you taught us how events of history connected with events of today had Jewish meaning, I wonder what words you would have about the middle East currently.

Saturday mornings have not been the same since Rabbi Joe left us. His wisdom, and ability to relate each weekly's Torah portion to current times made me think... there's nothing new under the sun. How would Rabbi Joe help us understand today's America? STILL missing you.

Saturday mornings without Rabbi Joe and his teachings are just not the same. Although a few of us still get together for lunch once a month, you are clearly missed. It was fascinating how you brought the words of our book, although thousands of years old, to connect with the world of today. I wonder what you would make of our current political situation?

I miss the music at Congregation Ner Tamid.

So sorry to learn of your loss. We appreciated Rabbi's and your warm welcome to Ner Tamid when we came to Tucson.

So many memories from bygone days at Temple Emanu El during my years in SWFTY and UofA... my condolences to the Weizenbaum family. Rest in peace, Rabbi Joe.

My stepfather loved my Mother with all he had. He was the best Zayde to the children. I will miss you Abba.....

What a loss! Though we were not members of his congregation, we always looked forward to Shabbat services at Ner Tamid when we attended with our friends. Rabbi Joe called us his "Presbyterian Jews who glow in the dark", remembering our careers at a national laboratory. Such a learned man!

From the first time I met you @TMC where I worked & "U" came to bright peoples day, I knew you were a special person. Rest In Peace, Rest in Peace. Love,Light&Life.
