Josie Bayer Obituary
She was the former Josie Burgess and a native of Barbourville, KY. Josie loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She had worked for General Electric for several years as a plastics operator.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Arthur F. Bayer and a brother, Russell Burgess.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sandra Patterson; grandchildren, Vickie Shannon Rainey (Nicholas) and Danny Patterson (Janet); and three great-grandsons, Michael, Matthew and Daniel.
Josie's Celebration of Life service will be private. Visitation will be at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Charities or Hosparus.
