Not sure what to say?

I was shocked to hear of Ken's passing. Although we had been in touch from time to time over the years, we had recently reconnected. Ken, I and several others served on the National Fish and Seafood Council together, 1986-1981. It was a very intense program and Ken served as our Chairman for a good part of our tenure. My husband also took his "Fish School" at the NEDC. He was such an inspiration and always kept us on an "even keel." I was always thrilled to hear from him. I will miss...

I just heard about Ken's death today and I am so, so sorry. I did work for Ken and the New England Fisheries Development Association for a few years and counted Ken as a close friend forever after. He was funny, smart, generous and kinda pleasure to be around, always. He took such great pleasure in telling stories about his family and expressing his pride in their accomplishments. For all his own accomplishments, he was never self-aggrandizing. Since he moved to Maryland, I saw him much less...

I had the privilege of working for Ken at the New England Fisheries Development Foundation and felt so blessed to have been mentored and guided by someone with extensive knowledge matched by his passion for the industry, compassion and great humanity. Though I did not meet all of Ken's loved ones in person, I felt like I had the chance learn about them through Ken's having shared many loving stories about each of his family. I loved listening to the joy in his voice and watching his smile...

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Ken Coons. I looked forward to visiting with Ken each year while attending the Boston Seafood Show. He was always a gentleman and possessed a wonderful soul of humanity. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Ken's passing. He was a wonderful friend for many years.

Ken was such a positive force, throughout his career and beyond, to the seafood industry. He touched so many of us as a mentor, supporter, and promoter on so many fronts!. Rest in peace Ken, we will miss you. Our condolences to Ken's extended family, from all of us at PanaPesca USA.

I was one of the privileged individuals to benefit from Ken's knowledge and wisdom when starting out as a young fish monger in the mid 80's. As the years wore on, I'd see Ken at the Boston Seafood Show where he would always remember my sons and ask about my wife Stephanie whom also benefited from Ken's gifts.
Rest in peace Ken. My condolences to the family.
