Larry Douthitt Obituary
Muncie - Larry Andrew Douthitt, 68, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at his residence.
He was born July 20, 1947 in Muncie to Arthur Douthitt and Ruby (Fears) Mullins.
Larry proudly served his country in the U. S. Army and the U. S. Navy.
He was a sign painter for several years and was a member of the American Legion, Muncie.
Larry enjoyed taking his Studebaker to various car shows.
He is survived by his wife whom he married June 18, 1988, Kathy (Brandenburg) Douthitt; sons, Larry (Aimee) Douthitt and Randy (Viola Nay) Masters; daughter, Sherlyn (Nathan) Jarrett; grandchildren, Larry Douthitt, Steve Douthitt, Summer Blevens, Erica Douthitt, Brandon Jarrett, Travis Masters, Terri Masters, Jonathon Masters and Blake Douthitt; great-grandchildren, Braylon Blevens, Milyn Douthitt, Grayson Blevens, and two on the way, Hannah Douthitt and Kaileigh Blevens; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Services will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home with visitation for family and friends beginning at 11:00 a. m. until the time of the service.
Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 115 West Washington Street, Suite 1180 South, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
