Not sure what to say?

While employed at Taylor exhibits , I met all the marketing people of Tandy Corp. Lew, John Burnham, John Roach . They left a mark lasting impression

A great human and canny businessman; fondly remembered on both sides of the pond.

I was a young Radio Shack Store Manager in 1979 when I met Lew in his office. He was gracious and kind and explained how he personally brought the TRs-80 to the back page of the catalogue and pre-sold 7,000 computers. He laughed and said that Charles Tandy, said they would never sell. They did sell and Charles gave Lew a huge bonus for it!

"Uncle" Lewis was my favorite relative, my mother Anita having wed his brother John, my step-father. Lewis sparkled, Lewis radiated presence, wit, intelligence, and charm. He also never failed to make me feel special in his eyes.

Rose Ann, whom he adored deeply, my heart goes out to you for the loss of this lovely man.

Lew was a highly intelligent, articulate man whose delight in technology and innovative ideas guided Radio Shack during its golden era.

Lewis Kornfeld was a brilliant businessman who managed by understanding and intelligence. Greatly admired in Britain as well as the U.S.and sorely missed.

I meet Mr. Kornfeld during my days at Radio Shack. He was one of the good guys at RadioShack. He always had time to say hello and to see how I was doing. Mr. Kornfeld gave me the impression that he cared about people who worked for RadioShack. He was truly one of the good people at RadioShack. Our condolences go out to the Kornfeld family.

Lew hired me in July 1959 and was one of the most important individuals in my life. He was my mentor, teacher and friend.Lew was an extraordinary individual and a brilliant businessman. May his memory always be for a blessing.
