Louie Thompson Obituary
L.A. was born in Scottsboro, Alabama and moved to Harrison, Tennessee. He was a member of the National Guards, owner of M&T Chevron for 30 years. He attended Oakwood Baptist Church
L.A. was preceded in death by his parents Stella and Louie A Thompson, Sr.
L.A. is survived by his wife of 58 years Shirley Thompson; daughters Denise Thompson, Anita T.( Wendell) Boagus and Debra T. ( Tom)Taylor; son Eric ( Jaimie) Thompson; grandchildren Chad, Kristy, Hannah and Seth; great grandchildren Sydney and Troy; sister Ruby Lynskey and Brother Bill Thompson
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6- 8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home- North Chapel
Funeral service for L.A. will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, January 9, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Grady Dishroon officiating
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Daddy, just had Christmas with Mom in her new place. It was nice but the void of you still lingers for me. I love you and miss you. I can only try to imagine your Christmas. It comforts me so much to know you have a wonderful eternal life with Jesus and I can only wait in this life until I can be with you eternally in the next life. Merry Christmas Daddy I LOVE YOU!

Happy Father's Day Daddy! My heart remains full of love for you that I pray you eternally know. God blessed me with you as my wonderful earthly father and for that I am eternally greatful to Him, my heavenly father. I know that now you both watch over me in a special way from a very special place. I will miss you until we are joined together again in that place. I know you are happy and healthy every day now and that helps me carry on. I love you Daddy!

Mr. Thompson was such a fine man, and I have not found anyone who gave the service that he and Eric provided at your Chevron station for so many years. I hate that he was so sick, but am thankful he is free from illness and pain now. love to you all.
