Dr. Margaret Phillips Steinam M.D.

July 2025 While going through papers I came across her Christmas letter from 1984 with a personal letter attached to me. I have saved it all these years. I immediately started crying and the memories returned of her at Woodstock Memorial. I admired her so much for going from nursing to becoming an MD. I left the hospital that year and went from nursing to medical sales for the rest of my career. She was such an inspiration to me. I also remember her huge bowls of ice cream she treated...

I think of Margaret often and miss her vibrant presence. The world is a lesser place without her. --Holly Wissing

I miss Margaret. Still remember the first time we went biking together and was astounded to be outbiked by an 86 year-old. Nor will I forget her Bush presidency countdown wrist watch. Or her Christmas letters.

An amazing woman. Tom and i are glad we were among her friends.
