Margaret Cooper Weirick, age 93, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025. She was born 1932 in Norton, New Brunswick, Canada to Edward Bryan and Anne Florence (Carney) Cogger. Margaret traveled from Nova Scotia, Canada to Rhode Island, USA in her twenties to work and visit. In Rhode Island she met Frederic Cooper who was just getting out of the Navy and they married and settled down months later in Miami FL. She was a Homemaker and a resident of Florida for the next seventy years. Margaret was a beloved Mom, Wife and Nana, and is survived by her Daughter – Cheryl Cooper of Sebring, FL; Son – Michael Cooper (Heather) of Cape Coral, FL; Grandchildren – Megan Cooper Peck (John); Bryan Cooper (Allie); Joseph Cooper (Kaite); Michael Jon Cooper; 8 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in Canada.She was preceded in death by her first Husband – Frederic M. Cooper, second husband Clyde Weirick; dearly loved Granddaughter – Cara Cooper as well 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Margaret was a woman of strong Christian faith and instilled the importance of family, forgiveness and hard work. She was a kind, caring giving person who always put the needs of family before her own and a source of inspiration to all. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Services will be announced at a later date.
