Marilyn Fabry Caminiti, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Mt. Plymouth, Florida, on October 20, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on January 30, 1947, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Marilyn grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with love, resilience, and purpose.
Throughout her journey, Marilyn lived in several beautiful places, including Yorktown, Virginia; St. Simons Island, Georgia; and Charleston, South Carolina, before settling down in sunny Florida to enjoy her retirement. She dedicated 22 years of her life working as a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service, a role that reflected her commitment to serving her community.
Marilyn's heart was forever intertwined with her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Anthony Caminiti, and her son, Jonathan Fabry Caminiti, as well as her parents, Marion and Andrew Fabry. She leaves behind a loving legacy through her two daughters, Margit Caminiti and Mary-Kate Walsh (Michael Walsh), and her treasured grandson, Ian Henry Joseph Walsh. Her brother, Andrew J. Fabry, and his wife Joanne Fabry also survive her, enriching the tapestry of family she so dearly cherished.
Marilyn was known for her kindness, generosity, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies and was actively involved in her community, always looking for ways to lend a helping hand. Marilyn will be remembered as a loving, devoted family member and a friend whose spirit touched many lives.
In this time of mourning, we embrace the memories of Marilyn Fabry Caminiti, whose kindness and love will forever linger in our hearts.
