Mary Feusner Obituary

Feusner Mary Margaret Feusner, age 89, of Upper Arlington, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. Mary graduated magna cum laude from Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa. She worked as a teacher throughout her career and retired from Worthington High School. Following retirement, Mary worked several years with Highlights for Children. She was a longtime member of Riverside United Methodist Church and also a member of P.E.O., an educational group. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband LaVern M. Feusner, parents Harry and Elsie Mathes, and four siblings. Mary is survived by sons, Mark M. (Lynn), Kyle L. (Betty), and David D. (Heather) Feusner; grandchildren, Lauren (Ronnie Jr.) Guy, Pamela (Joseph) Mitchell, Jess Feusner, Mary Ann (Ian) Lawler, Matthew Feusner, Jamie (Patrick) McCurdy, and Joseph (Beth) Feusner; 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Joy (Bill) Schwartz and Freda (Bruce) Slawson; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of service Monday. Rev. David Griebner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Hospice, c/o OhioHealth Foundation, P.O. Box 600001, Columbus, Ohio 43272-9802 or to Riverside United Methodist Church, 2701 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43221 in her memory. Arrangements by Schoedinger Northwest Chapel.
