Mary Yvonne Reichenstein

Mary Yvonne DeManche Reichenstein, 95, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in Arlington, TX.
Mimi, as she was affectionately called by most, was born, December 1, 1922, in Waco, Texas, to Marcelle Sidney DeManche and Rose Elizabeth Finger DeManche. She attended schools in Fort Worth, Texas. Mimi married Charles Francis Reichenstein, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Fort Worth, Texas, on January 6, 1948. Mimi and Charles moved to Arlington, Texas in 1952. She was active at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and School. She loved sports, especially the Texas Rangers and TCU Horned Frogs, and any sport her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in. She also loved reading, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, going to musicals, watching Hallmark movies and Anne of Green Gables, playing games, collecting bluebonnets, genealogy and doing projects. Mimi was important to so many and will be greatly missed. She would want everyone to live by her motto: persevere.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, sister, 2 brothers and her husband, Charles.
Survivors: daughters: Juliana Reichenstein, Theresa Gilmore (Bill); sons: Karl, Kurt and Kevin (Jim Forrester) Reichenstein; granddaughters: Karly Bobo (David) and Katy Winter (James); and 5 great-grandchildren: Ford, Brody and Knox Bobo, Beckham and Lucy Winter; nieces: Renee Boydstun (Jerry) and Lisa Goss (Alan) and several great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside service: ?12:00 noon, Monday, January 8, 2018?, at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. Visitation to follow in the Bluebonnet Room inside the Funeral Home.
