Matthew Cole Beaber

Matthew Cole Beaber, 19, of Gates, NC died Wednesday, October 22, 2025.He is survived by his parents, Gregory A. Beaber, Jr. and Melissa N. Beaber; his brothers, Nathan and Thomas Beaber; grandparents David C. Wiegand, Debra Godley-Wiegand, Gregory Beaber, Sr. and Evelyn Dixon-Neumeyer; great-grandparents Richard Dixon, Ava Hutchins and Stuart and Phyllis Beaber; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

He was a sweet boy whose love had no boundaries. He kept Jesus in his heart and always said he was everybody's boy when asked if he was mom or dads boy. He wanted everyone's time and love. His world was different from ours. It was better and superheroes were real.

A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, NC 27938 with Pastor Ron Verostek officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 noon prior to the service. Burial will be private.
