Maurine Gravelle

Maurine Gravelle passed away on October 21st, surrounded by her loved ones.



Maurine was born on April 1st, 1933 in Utah to Lavere and Genevieve Adams. She went to Sandpoint High School and did some nursing at the hospital. She married Omar Leon on December 4, 1955 in Careywood. They were together for 50 years and raised 6 kids.



Maurine is survived by her brother, George. Her son, Orlin and his wife, Vicki, their two daughters, Desiree and April and their families. Her daughter, Stephanie and her husband, Randy and their kids, Chad, Kaci, and Nathan and their families. Her daughter, Tammy and her husband, Channing and daughters Tiffany and Tawny and their families. Her son, Tim and his wife, Lynnell and kids Riley, Beau, and Shantelle and their families. Her daughter Delinda's boys Brandon and Dillon and families.



She is preceded in death by her husband, Omar Leon, her son, Sam, her daughter, Delinda, grandson, Dustin, and siblings, Beth, Vera Rae, Dave, Wendell, Lowell, and Blaine.



A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26th at 1:00pm at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene, ID immediately followed by a celebration of life at American Legion Post 143.



Maurine will be remembered for her incredibly generous heart that was accepting of any and all. Her feisty sense of humor would light up any room she walked into. In the wise words of Grandma, holding her glass high, "Here's to ya!"
