Funeral Services for Minnie Jo Hubbard Hayes, 84 of Anniston were held on Tuesday at 2:00pm at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Kevin Jones officiating. Burial followed at Providence Baptist Cemetery in Talladega. Mrs. Hayes passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Survivors include daughters Nita Hayes Poe, Lisa Hayes Thompson (Larry), daughter-in-laws Diane Hayes, Cheryl Davis, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, sister Sadie Hubbard Roemeling (Bill), Faye Hubbard Marzo. Mrs. Hayes is preceded in death by her husband General (Buddy) Hayes, daughter Jan Hayes Cotton, sons Arnold Hayes, Doug Hayes, Tommy Hayes, her parents Harry & Ollie Mae Hubbard, sister Willie Bell Hubbard LuAllen, brothers, Charles Hubbard, Sonnie Hubbard, Manual Hubbard. Pallbearers were Jason Presley, Shane Pressley, Corey Pressley, Jay Presley, Tre Presley and Case Presley. Mrs. Hayes was a retired homemaker whom loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, loved to garden, Alabama Football, Nascar and quilting.
