Not sure what to say?

I've been selected to assume command of the NYNM largely due to RADM Czesak's dedication and leadership when I first joined the USNR and NYNM. As have several others before me with the NYNM growing to 3,100 members and a fleet of 11 boats. What a lasting legacy of great benefit to the entire State during times of crisis. Paul was a fine friend and great patriot.
May he rest in peace,

I will miss Paul, he was a mentor and friend, He was responsible for my association in the New York Naval Militia, my sympsthies for Ann and his daughter Jodi. I am sure that the supporters of the USS SLater will miss his inspiration, It was a sad day when I was notified of his Passing.

Admiral Czesak will be sorely missed. I worked with him on several projects at the Division of Military and Naval Affairs and aboard the USS Slater. I appreciated his wise counsel and friendship.
