Preston TRACEY Obituary

TRACEY, SR., Preston Joseph Passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 at his home in Ashland City, TN. He would have been 89 years old on April 2nd. Preston served in the United States Marine Corps from 1941 until the end of WWII in 1945. On December 23, 1945, he was married to his wife of 67 years, Lillian Edna Waters. After receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University in 1952, Preston then went to work for DuPont, from which he retired in 1982 after a 31 year career. Preston was a member of Donelson Christian church for over 40 years and has attended Pleasant View Baptist Church in recent years as well. Survived by his loving wife, Edna; son, Preston Joseph Tracey, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Patrice Lockert Tracey; two granddaughters, Rachel (Chip) Schmidt, Erin (Roy) Wagner; three great grandchildren, Raven Tracey, Lillian Wagner & Jackson Wagner; one surviving sister, Sally Tracey Booz of Milford, DE & many nieces, nephews, extended family & very dear friends. Memorial Service Saturday, March 23rd at 10 a.m., at
