July 18, 1968 – April 18, 2019


Robert Harford (Bob) was admitted unexpectedly to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto on April 10, 2019 and passed away peacefully in hospital on April 18, 2019 with his family by his side.

Bob Harford of Toronto, Ontario in his 50th year. He had a generous spirit and an even bigger heart. He was always there to help a friend in need. Bob lived life fully on his terms and despite the many challenges he faced over the course of his life, he had a fighting spirit and always found a way through.

He leaves behind his only sibling Lynne Harford, his mother and step father (Rose-Mai and Gordon Jackson) and his father and step mother (Robert and Helen Harford). Over the last 14 years, Bob shared his life with his common law partner Diana Marquardt who will miss him dearly. He leaves behind to grieve many aunts, uncles and cousins who have loved and supported him and shared in the memories of his life journey. Additionally, mourning his loss is his extensive group of friends and acquaintances in the downtown Toronto neighbourhoods.

Bob is predeceased by his paternal grandparents (Mae and William Harford) and his maternal grandparents (Yvonne and Faldora Dupuis). In love and light, they have all welcomed him home with open arms.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Service on Sunday April 28, 2019 at 11:30 am at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto Ontario M4X 1K5 416-924-1408. A private family interment will take place at Bowmanville Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his grandparents Mae and William Harford.
