Robert Eugene Tindell, Jr., age 57, of Knoxville, passed away October 20, 2016. He was a member of Linden Baptist Church. He was a cherished father, son, and brother. Known to friends and family as "Bobby", he would do anything in the world for anyone. All they had to do was ask.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Tindell; sister, Brenda Tindell; step-father, Bill Hurst; brother-in-law, Tom Bak; sister-in-law, Sandi Hurst and many friends. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Hurst; son, Robby Tindell; daughter, Jesse Tindell and fiancé, Stone Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Joey Varnes and their daughters, Allison and Amanda; sister, Audrey Bak and her children, Tommy, Danny and Jaime; brother, Alex Hurst and his daughter, Morgan; fiancée, Lesley Bean; friend and mother of his children, Robin Tindell; best childhood friend, Les Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins too numerous to name. Bobby worked for Knox County Schools for 20 years, during which time his co-workers in the HVAC department became like family. We would like to thank them for their love and support.

Visitation will be held at Weaver Funeral Home, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. David Maude officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m., Monday, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, for a 10:00 a.m. interment. The family would like to thank Parkwest Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
