SFC lantz was my station commander with a very fast chevy vega. I never knew how much he took care of me until I grew older. I now serve in Afghanistan and will never forget him........he took good care of his soldiers. He is a loss to many of us who served with him. God bless Gwenda and son......I think named Tommy. He served in OKC before my wife was liost in 1995

I'm sorry to hear this sad news. While on recruiting duty with Robin in Rockford he taught me a lot in how to put young people in the Army.We shared many good times and I could not have had a better friend. I'm sorry we didn't keep in touch after I left recruiting in Rockford, as, this kind of individual is hard to find as a friend.
