Ronald Sweazen, age 66, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2025. Loving husband of Barbara (Snee); proud and loving father to Corey (Jennifer) Sweazen; dear brother of Richard and Robert; brother-in-law of Debbie (Chuck) Heiry, Tom (Gayle) Snee, Mike (Martha) Snee, MaryJane (Mark) Daniels, Kathy (Bret) Wagner, Vince Snee, and the late Cheryl McCurry; uncle of David (Chelsey) Sweazen, Dustin and Danielle Sweazen, Brian (Meghan) Heiry, Melissa (Joel) Werre, Kristyn (Ronnie) Neurohr, Michelle (Ian) Guinn, Michael (Bara) McCurry, and Cameron and Claire Daniels; great uncle to Sadie and Callum Sweazen, Molly, Addison, Nolan, and Tucker Heiry, and Ada Neurohr; he is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Trudy Sweazen. Ron was affectionately known to his family and childhood friends as “Chung”. He worked in the engineering field for over 40 years and loved to play golf and hang out with his golf buddies. Friends will be received on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donations to the Lupus Foundation.
