Sergio G. Baum

Mr. Baum was my fifth grade teacher. I loved him very much. He taught me so much in the short time that I knew him. He was always there to hear me out. Always a kind smile and giving the class interesting facts. I learned abour arctic expeditions and what frostbite looked like from textbooks in his class. I was shocked to hear about Sergio. We will miss his quirky sense of humor and wit. He was a friend to all of us in the El Valor cohort.

Sergio was a very sweet,kind,and genuine person. Sergio kept us awake and alert during our Friday and Saturday classes with his wit and humor. Words cannot describe how deeply sadden we are by his passing. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am extremely saddened to hear about the passing of a colleague and friend. Anyone who was fortunate enough to have know Sergio, as I did, was lucky to have known a person who was intelligent, funny, and an all around decent man. He will be missed. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Sergio as his professor at the Govs. St. Cohort. In our brief encounters he impressed me as a bight, articulate, upbeat guy with a great sense of humor.
