Shannon L. Hobby, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away at home on October 29, 2025, at the age of 37. Born on April 15, 1988, in Las Vegas Nevada. Shannon made an undeniable mark on the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In her professional life, Shannon dedicated her skills and passion as an office administrator in the healthcare industry, contributing her talents to Harmony Park Family Medicine in Hot Springs. Her commitment to providing support in a field that is so vital to our community highlighted her nurturing spirit and desire to help others.
The heart of Shannon's life was her family, who she cherished above all else. She is survived by her loving husband, Kore Hobby, and their three wonderful children: Brandon, Bryce, and Kaley Hobby. Shannon’s devotion as a mother knew no bounds; she adored her children and always sought to create joyful experiences filled with love and laughter. From art and crafts to board games like Monopoly, Clue, and Uno, Shannon found delight in the simple pleasures of family time, making each moment a treasured memory.
Shannon's personality shone brightly through her interests. She loved watching Joe Burrow play, relishing every thrilling moment, and enjoyed invigorating Jeep rides that reminded her of the joy of adventure. A proud member of the congregation at Lakeview Assembly of God in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Shannon embraced her faith, fostering a sense of community that resonated deeply with her.
Shannon was predeceased by her mother Brenda Dority, whom she cherished.
She was the cherished daughter of Russ, and stepmom Debbie Dority, and her memory will also be held close by her brother, Brian Dority. In addition, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Susan Hobby, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed to share in her vibrant spirit. Shannon's gentle heart and loving ways touched many lives, and she will be missed immensely.
The pallbearers who will honor her legacy at the funeral service include Brandon Hobby, Izic Clenney, Wyatt Wolf, Jamarrion Byrd, Brian Dority, Tommy Ribaudo, Kyle White, and Casey Box.

Shannon L. Hobby leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and devotion that will continue to inspire her family and friends. As we come together to celebrate her life, we will remember her beautiful smile, the warmth in her heart, and her everlasting love for all. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM on November 3, 2025, at Lakeview Assembly, located at 4524 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR.
