SHAWN WHEELER Obituary
Shawn Michel Wheeler, age 44, of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Monday July 24, 2017. Shawn was born on October 7, 1972 in Orlando, Florida to Suzi Fillman and Robert Wheeler.
He graduated high school in Orange County, Calif. and attended Orange Coast Community College. Shawn worked in the hospitality industry including Disneyland and the Laughlin Casinos.
He spent most of his free time with his children, family and friends. Shawn was known for having an upbeat attitude and spreading joy amongst family and friends. He was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Dallas Cowboys.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Jones and Richard Emerson Jones, Sr.; and uncle Richard Emerson Jones, Jr.
He is survived by his son, Gianni Wheeler; daughter, Josephine Wheeler; mother, Suzi Fillman; two brothers, Scot Wheeler and Steven Wheeler; cousin and best friend, John Jones; and his lifelong childhood friend, Billy Edson, together known as "The Three Musketeers".
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Don Sullivan Park in Bullhead City. Sergeant Jesse Oviatt will be presenting the eulogy and prayer.
