Steve, we met in the Fall of 1961, me a freshman, you a sophomore at Menlo Atherton H.S. Little did I know we would develop a friendship that would last for all these years, along with our "friendly" PAC 12 rivalry . You, always a rabid UO Ducks fan, me the 'Cats (UArizona, my son's alma mater) + the Cardinal (Stanford, of course) along with your rooting for my alma mater, the SJSU Spartans. Not to mention our mutual "fandom" for our SF 49ers, Warriors & Giants. I will miss meeting for coffee...
