Supornpun Chansuta Groth, 75 of Glen St. Mary, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. Born on September 14, 1950 in Ubon, Thailand, Supornpun was the daughter of Suban and Punee Chansuta.
Mrs. Groth was very involved In the Buddhist community in Florida, attending Watpa Bodhiyana Temple in Palatka. She was considered a leader amongst the members there. She studied Thai dance in her younger years and thoroughly enjoyed expressing her cultures traditions. She also had a loved for flowers and gardening. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She leaves behind her husband, Kent Groth of Glen St. Mary; son, Frank (Lisa) Hanna, III of Middleburg; grandchildren, Dylan Hanna and Frank Hanna, IV; great grandson, Kodi Hanna; siblings, Oot Chansuta, Ott Chansuta, and Thinagong Chansuta; as well as extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, and a grandson, Kodi Hanna.
Final memorialization will be by cremation and a celebration of life will be held at the temple at a later date.
