Thais Cochran Obituary
Thais Hamm Cochran, born on July 18, 1926 a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Conroe, TX, passed away on May 5, 2017 at the age of 90.
Thais was a graduate of Redemptorist High School in New Orleans. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 50 years. Thais was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. Her Grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was an avid Tennis player, she played for North Country Women's Tennis League for 25 years. She cherished the many friendships she made throughout her years of playing tennis, especially the Divas! She also loved playing cards and going to the Casino to play the slot machines any chance she had!
Thais was preceded in death by loving husband of 55 years, John Alexander Cochran, Jr., Parents Lawrence C. Hamm, Sr. and Alma Rainey Hamm and her siblings, Rita Drumm, Alma Porter, Dorothy Vanderbrook, Lorraine Fanning, Lawrence Hamm, Jr. and William Hamm, son in-law, Louis Kuntz III.
She is survived by her four children, Dianne Cochran Schlosser, Linda Cochran Kuntz, John Alexander Cochran III, Kasey Cochran Bowen (Steve Bowen). Grandchildren, Jay Schlosser (Holly), Lezley Kuntz Devenport (Marc) Lizabeth Kuntz Bordelon (Steven) Lauren Kuntz Mouney (Craig) Rachael Cochran Compofelice (Anthony) Courtney Cochran Manning (Nurahda) Stephanie Bowen, Tyler Bowen, Alexandra Cochran, John Alexander Cochran IV. Great-Grandchildren, Adam Devenport, Eric Devenport, Alexander Schlosser, Andrew Schlosser, Aaron Schlosser, Paige Bordelon, Camille Mouney, Craig Mouney Jr., Charlie Compofelice, Charlotte Manning. Pallbearers will be: Nick Levantino, Garrett West, William Niven, Clark McFarland, Mikey McCartha, and Patrick Levantino.
Funeral service for Thais Hamm Cochran will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 12:30pm with a visitation prior to service from 10:00am to 12:30pm. Interment will follow funeral service at Garden Park Cemetery.
