Not sure what to say?

Back in 1958-59, I was a pre-schooler at Teddy's mom's house (ALWAYS remembered her as "Miss Sylvia"...He was a few years older than me but was my sister's age and so I got to know him quite well...Even as a kid he was caring and nice and so soft spoken - no wonder he was destined to become a doctor...I was able to find one photo of the back yard at his mom's place with all the kids she cared for (I'm on the far left with the plaid shirt)...I came and visited her & Teddy with my mom some...

we collected butterflies together as children, on the first block north of Melrose, when I lived at 750 N Gardner St. He seemed a happy kind soul even then, but I never knew he would become a doctor.

I remember our childhood playtimes, catching butterflies, on Gardner Avenue.

Dr. Zukin was my daughter's doctor 22 years ago. I was given the choice of him or two other neonatologists at Walnut Creek Kaiser to be her regular physician and I chose him, for his expertise, and for how he handled me --the overwrought mother of a child born with difficulties. He told me that when my sweet baby looked into my eyes and saw how much she was loved and wanted, she would thrive. It has crossed my mind in the last few years that it would nice to share with him that she is now...

I just learned of Ted's medical challenges and of his passing today when I read the AAP News. We lost track of each other over the years, but we were good friends in high school and next door neighbors for several years. I fondly remember playing electric guitars together and flag football on the front lawn of his home, also his mother's nursery school. We had some great times together. My sincere sympathies to his family.

To Noni and family,
I was devastated to hear of Ted's passing just yesterday. I knew Ted from Junior High through college/grad school.
I saw him last in 2007 when we had dinner together at your house with my son Danny. Ted and I were great friends and we were roommates for 4 years. We shared many wonderful experiences together. I am so sorry for your (and all who knew him) great loss.
His memory will be with me forever.

Our mutual college roommate Ken Meyer told me only today of Ted's passing. I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful guy. He was one of my roommates in my first apartment ever, when I was 19. We were housemates at the UCLA Band House, where I landed at 17 as a UCLA freshman, fresh off the bus from my hometown of Calexico CA. I knew he had been struggling with this affliction for a great long time, but had thought it was under control. It had been a few years since I had talked to...

I knew Ted at UCLA, during those fun days when he was in the UCLA marching band.. So sad to learn of his untimely death, yet so glad to learn about his wonderful accomplishments in life. He always wanted to be a doctor.. Rest in peace, Ted.

I knew Ted in junior and senior high school. He was always such a lovely person and I am saddened to know that his candle went out much too early. All my best to his family. Peace and wonderful memories to all of you.
