Lou, I was deeply saddened to learn, just a few minutes ago, of Vernon's passing. My memories of our high school years and our meeting at the 50th class reunion, are all of a pleasant and talented man, always helpful and upbeat. He will be missed by all who knew him. Joyce and I send you our most sincere condolences. John James, Bradenton, FL ( class of 1953)

Dear Lou,

Lou,
Hayley and I never had the pleasure of meeting Vernon but it is obvious that he was a wonderful gentleman. We love you and want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I just talked with Vernon last week. We were reminiscing of times past. We had some great times together. Especially, "There Stands the Glass".
